Light protest enters its 2nd day: Citizens show their reaction by turning lights on and off

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had issued a new call on his social media account for today, asking citizens to turn their lights on and off at 9 PM. Citizens turned their lights on and off for the second day of the protest.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who had called for the light-switching protest to express reactions following his appeal during the group meeting specifically regarding minimum wage earners and retirees, had also participated in the protest on the first day by turning the lights on and off alongside Ankara deputies.

On the second day of the light protest, citizens once again turned their lights on and off at 9 PM to show their reaction to the government's policies.
