In the city, where heavy rain and storms were effective throughout the day, lightning struck Nara Point at the Çanakkale Strait and Garrison Command as the rain continued into the night.
Four soldiers were injured when the lightning struck.
Two of the soldiers were taken to Mehmet Akif Ersoy Çanakkale State Hospital, and two were taken to ÇOMÜ Hospital.
It was learned that the soldiers are in good health.
