Lion cub found on the roadside in Şanlıurfa's Siverek district has died
Teams launched a search operation after receiving reports of a lion cub left on the roadside in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa. The lion cub has died at the rehabilitation center where it was receiving treatment.

Siverek-Şanlıurfa road, at the 5th kilometer, it was left on the roadside yesterday by unidentified person or persons.
Students who noticed the lion cub reported the situation to the authorities.
With the participation of the Şanlıurfa Nature Conservation and National Parks General Directorate, Haydi Gendarmerie teams, and animal lovers from Siverek, and with the help of scent-tracking dogs, the lion cub was found in an exhausted state and taken under treatment at the Siverek Animal Rehabilitation Center.
COULD NOT BE SAVED
It was learned that the lion cub, which was taken under treatment at the Siverek Animal Rehabilitation center, could not be saved despite all interventions by veterinarians.
