Little Narin's name to be kept alive in a park in Kilis

The name of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found 19 days after she went missing in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district, has been given to a park in Kilis.

The discovery of the lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, 19 days after she went missing on August 21 in Diyarbakır, has plunged all of Turkey into mourning. While new developments occur every day within the scope of the Narin Güran investigation, the case has yet to be fully resolved.

On the other hand, the name of 8-year-old Narin has been given to a park in Kilis. According to a written statement made by the Kilis Municipality, Narin's name will be kept alive in the park built in the Barış neighborhood.

In the statement, Kilis Mayor Hakan Bilecen stated that the name of Narin, who was torn away from life, her school, her loved ones, and her games, will always be remembered in the park.

Stating that they will not forget Narin, Bilecen noted the following:

"Our struggle is against the dark hands and mentalities that reach out toward our children. We will never forget Narin, and we will not let her be forgotten. We will continue our struggle with determination so that every child, from Diyarbakır to Kilis, from Edirne to Kars, can live their childhood in safety, as they deserve."

NEVŞEHİR MUNICIPALITY HAD ALSO TAKEN ACTION

Nevşehir Mayor Rasim Arı had announced on his social media account that Narin's name would be given to a park in Nevşehir.

Mayor Arı had used the following expressions: "Our pain is great and indescribable; we know it will not heal the wound it has opened in our conscience...

But we are keeping our NARİN's name alive in our city..
