Local election announcement from THY

Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced on its website the decision it has taken regarding the Local Administration General Elections to be held on March 31. 

The statement made by the airline company on its website regarding the matter is as follows:

"Dear passengers, additional rights have been granted to our passengers who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey due to the local elections to be held in Turkey on March 31, 2024.

Accordingly, for tickets issued on or before January 2, 2024, for our passengers registered on Turkish Airlines flights between March 24, 2024, and March 31, 2024, provided that the transaction is completed by April 15, 2024 (inclusive) and covers passengers who meet the specified conditions, regardless of the fare rules, completely unused tickets will be refunded free of charge. 

For partially used tickets where the travel has not been completed, the refund process for the unused flights of the ticket will be performed free of charge. The validity of the ticket can be extended until April 30, 2024 (inclusive) without any fare difference or penalty."
