Luxury boat suddenly turns into a fireball in Bakırköy
It has been determined that 4 out of 6 people on board a boat that caught fire for an unknown reason in Ataköy, Bakırköy, were injured. While it was learned that one of the injured is in critical condition, the boat was rendered unusable.

A boat began to burn for an unknown reason off the coast of Ataköy around 18:00 in the evening.
The burning of the luxury boat was visible from many parts of the coast.
Upon notification, teams from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire, and the boat was towed further offshore under the supervision of the teams to prevent the flames from spreading to other vessels.
The boat, which was towed offshore, was extinguished by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety teams in approximately 1 hour.
While the police have launched an investigation into the incident, the moments when the boat turned into a fireball were captured on citizens' mobile phone cameras. It was learned that Melek K., Hilal Ç., and Nermin İlgem A., who were injured on the boat, are receiving treatment at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital, while Engin C., who was seriously injured, remains in critical condition and is continuing treatment at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital.
