Mahmut Tanal responds to comment claiming he was 'added to the list of organization members': Whose hitman are you?

Tanal reacted to the statement by the social media user "Polis Günlüğü," which read, "While the Turkish Police are fighting against protesters, activists, and organization members, Mahmut Tanal has been added to this list; he collects a deputy's salary to prevent the police from doing their job at every opportunity."

Tanal said, "I am a representative of the people; whose hitman are you?"

CHP's Mahmut Tanal addressed the account named Polis Günlüğü, which made this post about him and later deleted it, saying, "As a deputy, my duty is to protect the Constitution, the law, and the fundamental rights of the people.

You, on the other hand, are trying to manipulate public opinion and cover up crimes by hiding behind a police uniform!"

Mahmut Tanal's social media post is as follows:

"Owner of the account named Polis Günlüğü; why did you first write this slander that smears my name, and then why did you delete it?

The answer is clear:

Because the slander you wrote is a lie, unlawful, and an attack on the national will!

As a deputy, my duty is to protect the Constitution, the law, and the fundamental rights of the people. You, on the other hand, are trying to manipulate public opinion and cover up crimes by hiding behind a police uniform!

Trying to suppress a peaceful demonstration is a crime!

Attacking a lawyer is a crime!

Slandering a deputy is a crime!

Whoever is complicit in these crimes will be held accountable before the law!
