Major crisis on board: Emergency landing due to an argument!

A Jet2 passenger plane took off from Antalya Airport yesterday evening for a flight to London Gatwick.

However, shortly after takeoff, problems began to arise between some passengers in the cabin. The situation was quickly reported to the pilot by the cabin crew.

PLANE DECLARES EMERGENCY IN BULGARIAN AIRSPACE

While the plane was cruising over Bulgarian airspace, the pilot declared an emergency and contacted the Sofia Airport Air Traffic Controller. The pilot urgently informed the authorities of the situation and initiated the necessary procedures for the plane to land in Bulgaria.

"WE NEED POLICE AND AN AMBULANCE"

The pilot's conversation with the tower was recorded by the air traffic control center. Among the pilot's words, the phrases "We need police and an ambulance. Come to the plane as quickly as possible. We will ask the passengers to remain in their seats until the authorities arrive" drew attention.

This incident is not the first crisis situation experienced by Jet2 aircraft. Previously, a plane belonging to the same airline made an emergency landing at Brussels Airport due to an argument between passengers on an Antalya-Manchester flight. In that incident, police detained two passengers following the argument, which had turned into a fight. Those two passengers were punished by the airline with a lifetime ban from flights.
