In a large-scale drug operation conducted in Istanbul, 75 kilograms of skunk were seized. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 2 suspects involved in drug trafficking were apprehended following simultaneous operations in the Maltepe and Büyükçekmece districts.
75 KILOGRAMS OF SKUNK SEIZED
In the operation carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch, 75 kilograms of skunk were seized in 72 separate packages. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on social media that the operation was completed successfully and that an effective intervention was carried out against the suspects involved in drug trafficking.
DETAILS OF THE OPERATION
The drugs were seized during simultaneous operations targeting a vehicle in the Maltepe district and an address in the Büyükçekmece district. Two suspects were taken into custody in the operation, and judicial proceedings have been initiated.
