Major hike in gun license fees
New fee amounts for gun carry and possession licenses have been published in the Official Gazette. Fees have increased to 31,600 TL for carrying and 50,565 TL for possession.

Fixed fee amounts regarding gun carry and possession permits have been redetermined.
The Presidential Decree on the matter has been published in the Official Gazette.
In this context, an increase of approximately 100 percent has been applied to the aforementioned fee amounts. The fixed fee amount for gun carry permits to be issued to individuals by official authorities for each year has been set at 31 thousand 600 liras.
Gun possession license increased to over 50 thousand
This amount has become 50 thousand 565 liras for possession permits and 1225 liras for non-rifled shotgun licenses to be issued according to special law.
The decision will enter into force as of September 7.
