Major operation against C31K platform
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has apprehended 30 individuals as part of an investigation launched into the "C31K" platform, which operated on Telegram and Discord. Numerous crimes were identified on the platform, which featured content involving child sexual abuse, threats, and violence.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into posts made on a platform called 'C31K' on the social media services Telegram and Discord. It was reported that the platform contained content including sexual abuse targeting children under the age of 18, threatening posts, and images of violence. Additionally, instances of animal torture, insults to national and religious values, mocking remarks directed at the families of those who lost their lives in natural disasters such as earthquakes and fires, and posts insulting the families of martyrs were also identified.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an ex officio investigation into crimes including 'violation of the cybersecurity law No. 7545', 'unauthorized access to an information system, obstructing, disrupting, destroying, or altering data', 'recording personal data, unlawfully disclosing or obtaining personal data', 'praising crime and criminals', and 'engaging in propaganda for terrorist organizations and organized crime groups'.
30 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY
As a result of technical analyses and investigations, 40 suspects were identified across 84 social media accounts. It was determined that 2 of the suspects were abroad, while 38 were in Turkey. Simultaneous operations were conducted in 14 provinces, centered in Ankara, under the coordination of the Ankara Police Department's Cyber Crimes Investigation Branch. As a result of the operation, a total of 30 people were taken into custody, including 13 children driven to crime.
CHILDREN ALSO SHARED CONTENT
It was noted that children driven to crime were also involved in the operation, with some of these children having shared content involving sexual abuse and violence on the platform. The police are continuing to examine the platform's operational structure and methods of committing crimes in greater detail.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a determined investigation against cybercrimes and criminal activities conducted over the internet, and security units are continuing their detailed work to identify crimes on the platform.
