Major operation in İzmir: 767 suspects apprehended!

A large-scale operation was carried out by the İzmir Provincial Police Department to combat crime and criminals. Within the scope of the operation, a total of 767 suspects were apprehended, including 506 individuals who had outstanding arrest warrants. 

In the operations conducted between December 13-19, a total of 259 individuals with finalized prison sentences—including 57 individuals with sentences of 10 years or more, 58 individuals with sentences between 5-10 years, and 144 individuals with sentences under 5 years—as well as 508 individuals with arrest warrants for judicial fines and testimony, were apprehended.

A total of 767 suspects were apprehended throughout the operation. It was learned that the processing of the suspects at the police station is ongoing.
