Man in Arnavutköy kills his ex-wife and 18-year-old son, then commits suicide

In Istanbul's Arnavutköy district, Davut Gökkaya shot and killed his ex-wife, Türkan Gökkaya, and their 18-year-old son, Emin Gökkaya. It was reported that Gökkaya committed suicide with the same weapon following the attack.

It was learned that his other son, A.G., who was in the house during the incident, survived the attack by hiding behind a sofa. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon notification.

It was stated that the teams' investigation at the scene is ongoing. Details regarding how the incident occurred are being investigated as part of the inquiry.
