The incident occurred this morning around 07:30 in the Bağlar neighborhood of Bağcılar. Barbaros Tüzün, who reportedly resides in Adapazarı, arrived at the home of Canan Filiz Aktaş, his alleged former girlfriend.
HE KILLED THE 13-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER ALONG WITH HER MOTHER AND COMMITTED SUICIDE
After entering the house, Tüzün drew his weapon following an argument and began firing at Canan Filiz Aktaş. At that moment, 13-year-old Selin, who was with her mother, hugged her and became a target of the gunfire. Barbaros Tüzün, who killed the young girl and her mother, then committed suicide with the same weapon.
HER OTHER DAUGHTER ESCAPED BY 20 MINUTES
It was learned that Canan Filiz Aktaş's other daughter, İlayda Aktaş, had left the house 20 minutes before Barbaros Tüzün arrived. Relatives of Aktaş reportedly told the police, "After Canan broke up with this person, he constantly called her, wanting to reconcile. However, Canan would not accept."
