Man kills wife and commits suicide

In Adıyaman, a man who shot and killed his wife committed suicide with the same weapon.

According to the information obtained, an argument broke out for an unknown reason between Erdem Kılavuz, a father of 4 living in Akçatepe village in the Tut district of Adıyaman, and his wife, Zeliha Kılavuz.

Following the argument, Erdem Kılavuz shot his wife, Zeliha Kılavuz, with a rifle. After killing his wife, Erdem Kılavuz then committed suicide with the same rifle.

Upon notification, gendarmerie teams arrived at the scene and conducted investigations in and around the area. The bodies of the Kılavuz couple were taken to the morgue of Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
