Man kills wife during divorce proceedings and commits suicide!

In Mersin, a man killed his Ukrainian wife, a mother of one who was in the process of divorcing him, and then committed suicide.

The incident occurred in an apartment on the 3rd floor of a 13-story building on 24117 Street in the Limonluk neighborhood of the central Yenişehir district.

According to allegations, I.Z. (45) argued with his Ukrainian-born wife, N.Z. (33), who was in the process of divorcing him.

During the argument, I.Z. shot and killed his wife multiple times with a handgun, and then committed suicide.

Upon hearing the gunshots, neighbors reported the situation to the police. Police and medical teams arriving at the scene determined that the couple had lost their lives.

Following the investigation by the police and the prosecutor at the scene, the couple's bodies were transported to the Council of Forensic Medicine by a funeral vehicle.

It was learned that the couple had a 7-year-old child, but the child was at school at the time of the incident.
