Man shot dead while exiting his vehicle
A person who was subjected to an armed attack while getting out of their car in Sancaktepe has lost their life. The vehicle used by the suspects was found burned in Eyüpsultan. Three suspects detained in connection with the incident have been arrested.

The incident took place in Atatürk Neighborhood on Friday, April 5. According to allegations, Mesut Aras was critically wounded as a result of gunfire opened at him from a vehicle used by the suspects while he was getting out of his car.
While the suspects fled the scene in the vehicle they arrived in, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon reports from nearby citizens. Medical teams determined during their checks that Mesut Aras had lost his life at the scene.
During the examinations conducted by police teams in the car and the surrounding area, 11 empty shell casings were found. The body of Mesut Aras was taken to the morgue of İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital.
SUSPECTS' VEHICLE FOUND BURNED
Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Public Security Branch Directorate's Murder Bureau, the vehicle used in the incident was found burned in a forest in Eyüpsultan. Three suspects identified as being involved in the incident were detained as part of the investigation.
The suspects, Yasin Tolga T. (25), Emre B. (24), and Cem Ö. (24), who were detained and have numerous criminal records, were referred to the courthouse following their processing at the police station.
The suspects were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
