Man who separated from his wife commits suicide by setting himself on fire after drinking alcohol
In the Karacasu district of Aydın, a man who had separated from his wife a week ago allegedly committed suicide by pouring flammable liquid on himself after drinking alcohol.

The incident occurred in the evening hours at a picnic area by the pond on Yazı Yolu in the Karacasu district of Aydın.
According to allegations, a 42-year-old man identified as İ.B. poured a flammable substance on himself for reasons yet unknown and set himself on fire.
Citizens intervened to help the man using fire extinguishers. Upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Upon arriving at the scene shortly after, medical teams determined that İ.B. had lost his life.

It was learned that the individual had divorced his wife one week ago. Following the incident, extensive security measures were taken in the area, and an investigation into the matter has been launched.
