Manifest group is moving out of Turkey

A new chapter will begin in London for Manifest, one of the most notable music groups of recent times. The group's founder and manager, Tolga Akış, announced in a post that the Manifest members' shared house in Istanbul will be closed in September and a new shared space will be opened in London.

In his post, Akış stated that this step is linked to the group's global preparations, adding, "A deal with a global production company is also on the way." The statement also emphasized that the London plan is seen as an important stage ahead of Wembley.

Founded after the Big5 Turkey competition held in 2025, Manifest reached a wide audience in a short time. The group, consisting of Sueda Uluca, Lidya Pınar, Mina Solak, Zeynep Sude Oktay, Esin Bahat, and Hilal Yelekçi, gained popularity especially among young listeners.

The group has been in the spotlight due to their concert tickets in Turkey selling out quickly and their expansion into international stages. Manifest also made headlines last week by performing just before Katy Perry at the Sunny Hill Festival 2026, organized by Dua Lipa.

In recent weeks, Manifest has also been at the center of controversy due to their stage performances and concerts. It was reported that an investigation had been launched into the group on charges of "obscenity" following a concert in Istanbul.

Çorum Mayor Halil İbrahim Aşgın's remarks, "As long as we are here, no Manifest girl can enter Çorum," made in response to a young fan's request for Manifest to perform a concert in Çorum, had also sparked public debate.

With Akış's latest statement, it has become clear that the group's Turkey-based operations will move to the London leg as of September. Manifest is expected to focus on international stage and production processes in the new period.
