Mansur Yavaş makes a call to Naci Görür following the earthquake in Çankırı

A 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in Çankırı. No negative incidents were reported following the earthquake, which was also felt in surrounding provinces, including Ankara. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş conveyed his best wishes to those affected by the earthquake and told seismologist Naci Görür, "We are ready to work with you on whatever is necessary, Professor."

Following the strong earthquake in Çankırı, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş made a call to seismologist Naci Görür.

The earthquake, which the Kandilli Observatory initially reported as being in Tosya, Kastamonu, was later revised to Çankırı. The 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred at 16:04 and was recorded at a depth of 5.0 kilometers.

Yavaş conveyed his best wishes to the citizens affected by the earthquake and noted, "We support your warnings and efforts regarding the reality of earthquakes all the way. As the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we are ready to work with you on whatever is necessary for a conscious society, Professor."
