Erdem Çerçioğlu, Chairman of the Martyrs' Families and Veterans Association, has made striking allegations regarding the Veteran Adaptation House. In a statement shared on social media, Çerçioğlu argued that they are being "mistreated" at the center.
Çerçioğlu alleged that a brigadier general named Ahmet Can, who he stated is on duty at the Veteran Adaptation House, is causing difficulties for veterans. In his statement, he said, "We are being mistreated at the Veteran Adaptation House. There is a brigadier general there named Ahmet Can, who came from civilian life."
Stating that the center was built with donations for veterans and martyrs' families, Çerçioğlu claimed that no resources from the state budget were used in its construction. Despite this, Çerçioğlu expressed his reaction by saying, "We are not being allowed into our own home."
In his statement, Çerçioğlu declared that they would not leave the place where they are until they receive their rights, saying, "Kill us all. We will not leave here until we get our rights."
