Massive raise for attendance fees at THY!

While public austerity measures announced by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek are being implemented, including regulations regarding bureaucrats receiving multiple salaries, a raise has been applied to 'attendance fees'.
According to the report by Deniz Ayhan from Sözcü; a 64 percent raise was applied to the attendance fees of THY Board of Directors members. Thus, attendance fees rose to 103 thousand liras for the first 6 months of this year. A new raise will also be implemented for the second 6 months.
THY Board of Directors members are also given a bonus in the same amount 4 times a year. The fees of board members, who received 25 thousand TL in the first 6 months of 2022 and later 36 thousand TL, became 62 thousand liras in the second half of last year, and have now risen to 103 thousand liras.
The THY Joint Stock Company General Assembly Meeting was held on May 24, 2024. The agenda items of the meeting included the attendance fees and bonuses of the board members. The fees of board members, who received 36 thousand TL in attendance fees in 2022, became 62 thousand liras in the second half of 2023. At the beginning of 2024, it rose to 103 thousand 52 TL.
ADDITIONAL ATTENDANCE FEE
Board members are also given a bonus equal to 4 attendance fees per year. At the THY general assembly meeting, it was also decided that if bonuses are paid to partnership employees, an additional attendance fee will be paid to all board members.
