Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe faced off in the 11th week of the Süper Lig.

The visiting team, Fenerbahçe, won the breathtaking match 3-2 with goals from Fred, Dzeko, and Amrabat. Trabzonspor's goals were scored by Banza.

Following the match, a controversy erupted between Mehmet Uçum, chief advisor to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and AKP Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç.

After the match, Uçum posted on his X account, "Despite everything, Fenerbahçe, no matter what you do, the greatest is Fenerbahçe." Responding to the post, AKP Mayor Genç replied:

"Mr. Mehmet, this has nothing to do with our subject, but if we are talking about 'despite everything'; despite everything, the greatest is always Trabzonspor."

Following this response, Chief Advisor Uçum made another post, stating, "When it comes to Fenerbahçe, don't bother with me; accept that I, like you, am acting entirely out of team spirit."

Uçum's post is as follows:

"Say what you will, yes, I have a public duty, that is true, I do what is required of me, and I am doing it, I never give up on the right idea, everyone is a witness. I will continue to dedicate myself to Turkey until the end.

But when it comes to FENERBAHÇE, I experience all kinds of subjective and team-color emotions; this emotion of mine has nothing to do with my public duty, I just have a red line that I have formed with the yellow-navy blue FENERBAHÇE world since I first became self-aware, and I live that too.

Therefore, when it comes to my public duty, evaluate it in that context; if you have criticism, say it, and if you agree, confirm it.

However, when it comes to FENERBAHÇE, don't bother with me; accept that I, like you, am acting entirely out of team spirit.

Please do not confuse my public duty with my passion for my team."
