Medyaradar announces new domain name following second access ban
Medyaradar, which faced an access ban following a complaint by Turkuvaz Medya, has returned to its readers with a new domain name. Medyaradar announced its new domain and stated that it expects support from its readers.

The new domain name of Medyaradar, which had previously been hit with an access ban following a complaint by Turkuvaz Medya, was also blocked recently.
The news site Medyaradar, which was first hit with an access ban by a decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Judgeship of Peace, had continued its operations under a new domain name. However, in line with a decision made by the Istanbul 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace on September 13, this new address was also blocked.
NEW DOMAIN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MEDYARADAR
Medyaradar reacted to the second blocking of its domain name, stating that it would not bow to pressure and would continue its publishing life with a new domain name.
In a new post shared by the site, the statement "We are continuing our publication as medyaradar.net" was included, along with the following remarks:
"Medyaradar was blocked on July 30 by the Turkuvaz Media Group, whose Executive Board is chaired by Serhat Albayrak, the brother of President Erdoğan's son-in-law, Berat Albayrak.
The accusation leveled against us was publishing a news story titled 'Turkuvaz Media Group's YouTube channels hacked' at the same time as many other websites.
Serhat Bey's lawyers rushed to the court and requested that access to the news on Medyaradar be removed.
The court accepted this request.
We immediately implemented the decision to block access to the news, which was taken on June 27.

Although the issue should have been resolved, the opposing party's lawyers applied to the court again.
They made a false statement, claiming, 'Medyaradar did not comply with your court's decision; we want it to be completely shut down.'
Their goal was to remove Medyaradar from its publishing life.
It is painful that the judge presiding over the case ordered the closure of Medyaradar without even bothering to check whether the link to the news was blocked or not.
Even more painful... the appeal made to a higher court was also rejected!

As Medyaradar, while continuing our legal appeals on one hand, we tried to resist this unfair decision by changing our access address from www.medyaradar.com to medyaradar.com.
However, this group, which has frequently been the subject of Medyaradar's news and commentary due to its activities contrary to journalistic ethics in the past, obtained the same decision for medyaradar.com this time.
The Istanbul 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace also blocked our new address.

In the new closure petition filed against us, the lawyers for the Turkuvaz Media Group went beyond the news story that was the subject of the first case.
They made accusations unrelated to the subject, which completely reflected the hostility they feel toward Medyaradar.
In a case about blocking access to a news story, they found the audacity to question our 'legal existence.'
They accused Medyaradar, which has been in operation for exactly 18 years by fulfilling all kinds of legal requirements, of being 'illegal,' not being an internet news site, having uncertain ownership, and being an operational website designed to create anarchy.
In other words, they made unbelievable slanders completely outside the subject of the case.
Just as a divorce case cannot be filed with allegations that are the subject of a murder case, these friends took the issue to completely different places in an access blocking case.
They trampled on the laws. Interestingly, the judge presiding over the case did not say, 'This is not the place for these accusations,' or perhaps could not say it.

Of course, we will not remain indifferent to these 'attempts to kill' and we will use all our legal rights against the slanders.
Because what is being done to us is an attempt to silence us through the judiciary, which is judicial harassment and a crime.
