'Mehmet Şimşek' developments that confused Şamil Tayyar: They must have ulterior motives

AKP member Tayyar had criticized the steps taken by those at the helm of the economy via his social media account and targeted Treasury and Finance Minister Şimşek without naming him. Şamil Tayyar made a new statement following the developments that occurred after his post.

Mehmet Şimşek, who was brought back to the seat of Treasury and Finance Minister to correct the poor course of inflation, has begun to receive harsh criticism that he has not been successful in this role, which he has held for three years. 

While there has been no comment from Şimşek, who has also been harshly criticized by AKP members in recent times, regarding these reactions, AKP member Tayyar has joined those criticizing Mehmet Şimşek.

Reacting to the fact that the poor course of the economy is always attributed to different reasons in his post, Tayyar stated that after this critical outburst, figures from the opposition front began to adopt an attitude of defending Mehmet Şimşek.

In his latest post on his social media account, Şamil Tayyar stated that he was surprised by this attitude taken towards Şimşek and used the following expressions:

"I am constantly in the field, trying to be the voice of society as much as I can.

My words are general.

There is no ulterior motive behind it; I do not know who takes their share of it or not.

Just as we have assessments regarding many different issues, in my last post, I drew attention to the deviation in the inflation target.

Left-wing opposition economists and their stakeholders, who attack the government every day and tear economic policies to shreds, first spread the lie that Şimşek wanted to be purged, and then they embraced him.

A strange contradiction.

Let someone who knows explain how it can be explained that opposition pens, which are attacking heavily on one hand, try to embrace him on the other.

Since it is obvious that they do not like him, they must have ulterior motives."
