Meme coin 'TRUMP' continues to rise

Former US President Donald Trump introduced a new cryptocurrency he launched with the statement, "The new official Trump meme is here!" in a post on his X and Truth Social accounts. The meme coin named "TRUMP" began to rise rapidly following the announcement.

The coin, which gained 190 percent in value over the last 24 hours, reached a level of 18.87 dollars, creating a market capitalization of approximately 3.7 billion dollars. It was reported that the cryptocurrency, which was issued on the Solana network, currently has a total supply of 200 million, and this amount will reach 1 billion within three years.

In his post, Trump stated, "Join my very special Trump community. Have fun," and this announcement caused a wide stir on social media. However, some users commented that Trump's account might have been compromised by hackers.

Reports in Western media claim that if Trump takes office, the US will create a reserve of cryptocurrencies and include units such as Solana and Ripple in it.
