HE EXPLAINED MONEY TRANSFERS IN HIS TESTIMONY
In his statement to the prosecutor, Kütahyalı provided explanations regarding his credit card transactions.
Kütahyalı said, "As I stated in my testimony, these are the amounts of money sent to me as a result of withdrawals from my credit card. I was rotating my credit card debts in this way. I do not know or recognize the individuals and companies here. When my credit card statements are examined, there will be historical explanations for all of them. Furthermore, the vast majority of the amounts I sent to my ex-wife, Nagehan Alçı, were financial support."
Kütahyalı also added, "These are the amounts of money that came from the joint account I used with my ex-wife, Nagehan Alçı. There is no suspicious transaction."
STATEMENT FROM NAGEHAN ALÇI
Journalist Nagehan Alçı, whose name was mentioned in Kütahyalı's testimony, made a statement regarding the allegations.
Speaking to Medyaradar, Alçı said, "The news regarding the money allegedly sent to me does not reflect the truth. The money allegedly sent to me by Rasim never reached my hands; it was used from a joint account to pay off his own debts."
In the continuation of her statement, Alçı said, "I have never received any money from Rasim for the children; I am owed a lot. I don't know how to feel about what he is going through."
