Making a statement on his social media account regarding the attack on Fatih Mosque Imam Galip Usta in Istanbul, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel said, "I condemn the attack carried out in the mosque against Fatih Mosque Imam Galip Usta and Bilal Erdem, and I wish Usta and Erdem a speedy recovery.
I hope that the attack will be brought to light with all its details and that similar incidents will not happen again in our places of worship," he stated.
