The 21st Extraordinary Convention of the Republican People's Party (CHP), organized under the theme "The Will Belongs to the Nation," began at 10:00 AM at the Nazım Hikmet Culture Center.
Speaking before the convention began, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş said regarding the event, "May it be auspicious. I hope it will be a good one."
When asked about the symbolic seat reserved for CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu due to his imprisonment, Yavaş said, "I hope we see him there at the next convention."
