Message from Özgür Özel on the tragic incident in Aydın

A collapse occurred while excavation work was being carried out for a drinking water transmission line in Yeşil Mahalle.

Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

Of the 4 workers who remained under the soil, 1 was rescued, and 3 lost their lives.

Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat stated, "There is a collapse during a DSI drinking water project operation. When a pipe burst, a collapse occurred. There are 3 fatalities, and 1 person was rescued."

Sharing a post on social media regarding the matter, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel used the following expressions:

I wish God's mercy upon the 3 people who lost their lives in the collapse that occurred during the drinking water transmission line excavation work in the Nazilli district of Aydın, and I extend my condolences to their families and our nation.
