CHP leader Özgür Özel shared a get-well message for DEM Party's Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who underwent surgery last night after suffering a heart attack.

DEM Party Imralı Delegation member and Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack at his home in Beşiktaş; it was determined that he had an aortic dissection, and he was taken into surgery around 11:30 PM last night.

While Önder's surgery was ongoing, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel shared a get-well message on his social media account.

"I HOPE HE CONTINUES TO ADVOCATE FOR PEACE"

Stating that they are closely following Önder's condition, Özel said, "I wish for him to regain his health as soon as possible, return to his duties, and continue to advocate for peace for everyone."

Özel's message is as follows:

"I convey my get-well wishes to Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder and wish him a speedy recovery.

We are closely following his health status; I hope he regains his health as soon as possible, returns to his duties, and continues to advocate for peace for everyone."
