Message from President Erdoğan to Trump

When asked by a journalist about Donald Trump's reference to him as 'my friend,' President Erdoğan replied, "The continuation of our friendship from the first term exactly as it was is very important to us," and announced that he would hold further talks with Trump in the coming period.

We believe that with this peace, the solidarity between countries in the world should continue. Everything that is needed is in peace. Nothing can be achieved through war, and we must resolve this as soon as possible.
