Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who is currently in detention, expressed his support for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş in a social media post, stating: "Mayor Mansur, a straight wall does not collapse. Everyone knows that Mayor Mansur protects the public interest and is an honest mayor dedicated to his country. He is in the hearts of the citizens. No one can remove him from there."

A note sent by the detained Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who has been granted permission for an investigation, was published on his social media account.

Karalar included the following statements in his post:
