Message on the lawsuit from Kılıçdaroğlu's Six-Party Table partner Karamollaoğlu: 'It is worrying and saddening'

Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, who formed a coalition with former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during the presidential elections and was a member of the Six-Party Table, has made a statement regarding Kılıçdaroğlu's lawsuit.

The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on charges of "insulting a public official" was held yesterday. Presenting a 25-page defense, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "I did not come here to defend myself, but to leave a note for history."

During Kılıçdaroğlu's hearing, many political figures, primarily CHP Chairman Özel, stood by his side.

Social media posts had criticized the absence of any political party leaders from the Six-Party Table era.

Kılıçdaroğlu's Six-Party Table partner Temel Karamollaoğlu made a statement on the matter one day after the hearing and expressed his reaction with the following words:

"Placing Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the former Chairman of the Republican People's Party, who served as the leader of the main opposition for years and received the support of tens of millions of our citizens in the last general elections, in the defendant's chair is worrying and saddening for the justice system.

I also stated in the phone call I had with Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu that the lawsuit in question is political and that we see it as an unacceptable example of lawlessness.

The struggle we have been waging for decades is against injustice and oppression. We will continue our struggle with the same faith and determination from now on."
