The Istanbul Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office conducted an operation against Can Holding on charges of establishing a criminal organization, smuggling, fraud, and money laundering.
Within the scope of the investigation, detention warrants were issued for 10 people, including Can Holding executives Mehmet Şakir Can, Kemal Can, and Kenan Tekdağ.
The SDIF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund) has seized 121 companies affiliated with Can Holding, including Habertürk, Show TV, HT Spor, and Bloomberg HT.
Habertürk presenter Mesut Yar said the following regarding the operation during the live broadcast:
