According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers expected across the country (except for the east of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Rize, and the coasts of Artvin), and thunderstorms expected on the Mediterranean coasts. 

Precipitation is expected to be strong in the east of Marmara, the Aegean, the Mediterranean, the southwest of Eastern Anatolia, and the east of Çanakkale, as well as in the surroundings of Diyarbakır and Adıyaman; very strong in places in the center and west of Antalya, the surroundings of Mersin, and the southern parts of Adana; and very strong and locally severe in the east of Antalya.

YELLOW AND ORANGE CODE WARNINGS

On the other hand, the Meteorology department has issued yellow and orange code warnings for 14 cities, including Istanbul. 

While orange code warnings were issued for Adana and Antalya, and both yellow and orange codes for Mersin; yellow code warnings were issued for Aydın, Burdur, Bursa, Isparta, Istanbul, İzmir, Kocaeli, Manisa, Muğla, Sakarya, and Yalova.

MARMARA

It is estimated to be very cloudy, with intermittent showers expected throughout the region. Precipitation is expected to be locally strong in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Bilecik, Balıkesir, and Bursa, as well as in the east of Çanakkale. The wind is expected to blow strongly from northern directions at times.

It is estimated to be very cloudy, with intermittent showers. Precipitation is expected to be locally strong.

EDİRNE 6°C

AEGEAN

It is estimated to be very cloudy, with intermittent showers and occasional thunderstorms throughout the region. Precipitation is expected to be locally strong across the region (except for the North Aegean coasts and Denizli). The wind is expected to blow from northern directions at moderate to strong speeds at times in the north.
