According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia, the western part of Marmara, the coastal Aegean, and the Western Mediterranean coasts are expected to be partly to very cloudy, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.

In the morning and night hours, fog and mist are expected in parts of Marmara and the inner and eastern regions, along with localized icing and frost in the eastern regions.

Temperatures are expected to rise across the country and remain above seasonal norms.

Winds are generally expected to blow from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate.

AVALANCHE WARNING

Caution and precautions should be taken due to the risk of avalanches on snow-covered, sloping hillsides in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.
