Meteorology issues heavy rain warning

The Düzce Governor's Office has issued a thunderstorm warning based on data from the General Directorate of Meteorology. 

The warning stated, "It is estimated that the heavy and locally thundery showers expected in the Western Black Sea region will be locally strong in the coastal areas of Düzce, Zonguldak, and Bartın provinces starting from the morning hours of Thursday, November 9, 2023. 

Citizens should be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, local hail, sudden strong winds, short-term storms, and disruptions in transportation."

The precipitation is expected to be effective between 06:00 and 18:00 on November 9.
