According to the statement made by the 12th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity of Erzurum, Erzincan, and Ardahan starting from the morning hours today, and in the vicinity of Bayburt starting from the afternoon hours.
Due to the rainfall, which is expected to be locally heavy, it was stated that negative consequences such as flash floods, inundations, lightning strikes, landslides, local hail, and strong winds during precipitation may occur.
Citizens were urged to be careful and take precautions against potential negative impacts.
It was reported that the warning will be in effect starting from 06:00 on August 16.
