Meteorology issues warning for 17 cities

The MGM has warned citizens against rainfall expected to continue as very heavy and severe in the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions starting from the early hours of tomorrow.
FLOOD AND LANDSLIDE WARNING
The written statement issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology is as follows:
“Due to the heavy rainfall observed on the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts, which is expected to continue as heavy in the east of Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, and Trabzon, and locally as very heavy and severe (51-100 kg/m2) in the east of Giresun, Rize, and the coastal areas of Artvin starting from the early hours of Tuesday, 03.10.2023, citizens should be careful and take precautions against negative consequences such as floods, inundations, landslides, lightning strikes, and disruptions in transportation.”
HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED IN THE EAST OF THE COUNTRY
According to the statement, locally heavy rainfall is expected tomorrow in the vicinities of Diyarbakır, Batman, Siirt, Mardin, Elazığ, Muş, Bitlis, Ağrı, Van, Şırnak, and Hakkari.
Citizens need to be cautious against negative consequences such as floods, inundations, landslides, lightning strikes, and disruptions in transportation.
