According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the east of Marmara, the inner parts of the North Aegean, the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the West and Central Black Sea, the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.

Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the east of Marmara, the Eastern Mediterranean, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, Southeastern Anatolia, and the south and west of Eastern Anatolia, and locally very heavy in the surroundings of Sakarya, Düzce, Zonguldak, and Bartın. The precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain, locally thundery showers on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and heavy sleet and snow in the higher parts of the inner Western Black Sea and the highlands of Eastern Anatolia.

YELLOW AND ORANGE CODED WARNING

On the other hand, yellow and orange coded warnings were issued for some provinces. The provinces under warning are as follows:

Adana, Adıyaman, Ankara, Antalya, Bingöl, Bitlis, Bolu, Burdur, Çankırı, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Isparta, Mersin, Kastamonu, Kocaeli, Malatya, Maraş, Mardin, Muş, Sakarya, Siirt, Tunceli, Şanlıurfa, Van, Zonguldak, Batman, Şırnak, Bartın, Yalova, Karabük, Osmaniye, Düzce.

MARMARA

It is estimated to be very cloudy, with intermittent rain and showers in the east of the region and the surroundings of Tekirdağ and Balıkesir. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Bilecik, and Bursa, as well as the north and east of Balıkesir. The wind is expected to blow strongly from northern directions (40-60 km/h).
