The General Directorate of Meteorology has published the weather report for Saturday, February 24.

According to the assessments of the MGM; the southern and western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers in the interior parts of the Western Mediterranean, the western districts of Balıkesir, and the surroundings of Denizli; sleet in the surroundings of Hakkari with snow at higher altitudes; and clear to partly cloudy weather elsewhere.

Mist and fog are expected in some places in the interior and eastern parts during the morning and night hours, along with localized icing and frost in the eastern parts. There is an avalanche risk in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

Caution and precautions should be taken as there is an avalanche risk on the snow-covered, sloping hillsides in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

It is estimated that the region will be partly cloudy to clear, with some areas in the west being very cloudy, and showers expected in the western districts of Balıkesir. Mist and localized fog are expected in the south and east of the region during the morning and night hours.
