Snow warning from Meteorology: It is coming with intensity
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that a period of partly to very cloudy weather and precipitation will begin across the country. Snow is expected in the Western Black Sea region, and strong winds are expected in the inland parts of the Mediterranean.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that partly to very cloudy weather will prevail across the country. According to the latest forecasts, rainy weather conditions are expected to be effective in many regions. Precipitation will be seen in many eastern provinces, including Ankara, Çankırı, Batman, and Siirt, with the Marmara Region, the eastern part of Central Anatolia, and the Black Sea Region being the most affected.
STRONG SNOWFALL IN THE WESTERN BLACK SEA
Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and showers in coastal areas, and sleet and occasional snow in inland areas. Strong snowfall is expected, especially in the high altitudes of the Western Black Sea. Meteorology also issued a warning for haze and occasional fog in the morning and night hours in the inland and eastern regions.
STRONG WINDS EXPECTED IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
In the inland parts of the Mediterranean, strong winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast at speeds of 40 to 60 km/h. In other regions, winds are expected to blow from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate.
TEMPERATURES ARE DROPPING
Air temperatures are expected to drop by 2 to 4 degrees, especially in inland areas. There will be no significant change in temperatures in other regions. Authorities stated that these drops will be felt especially during the night hours.
