Warning from Meteorology for 28 provinces including Istanbul: It will be very severe!

The General Directorate of Meteorology reports that according to the latest assessments, the northern, inner, and western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and occasional thunderstorms in the south and east of the Marmara region, the North and Coastal Aegean, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, the surroundings of Tekirdağ, Kırşehir, and Yozgat, and the coastal parts of Hatay, while other areas are expected to be partly cloudy and clear. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the North Aegean coasts, the Black Sea coasts (except Sinop), and the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, and Manisa.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms across the region, except for the surroundings of Edirne and Kırklareli. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Balıkesir, and Çanakkale.
