Metin Akpınar, one of the master actors of Yeşilçam, did not remain silent against the claims that he has a "son," which emerged years later. In response to the claims made by magazine writer and singer Onur Akay, Akpınar filed a 1 TL non-pecuniary damages lawsuit.

The second hearing of the case, which is being heard at the Istanbul 28th Civil Court of First Instance, has been adjourned to October 10, 2024. Akpınar's lawyers requested symbolic compensation on the grounds that their client's personal rights, fame, and reputation had been damaged.

STATEMENT FROM ONUR AKAY

Making a statement about the lawsuit process on social media, Onur Akay said, "Metin Akpınar has filed a 1 TL non-pecuniary damages lawsuit against me at the Istanbul Anatolian 28th Civil Court of First Instance! The notification has only just reached me," he stated. Akay indicated that if the case is won, he intends to file a 1 TL non-pecuniary damages lawsuit against Akpınar as well.

The lawsuit petition also included the claim that Onur Akay sent 500 TL to Metin Akpınar's twin daughters. The details of this claim are expected to come to the agenda during the court process.

WHAT HAPPENED?

While Metin Akpınar had been in the spotlight in recent years due to his twin daughters, the statements made by Onur Akay brought a new debate along with them.

Claiming that Akpınar has a son born in 1984, Akay alleged that this information had been discussed in his close circle for years. Taking action against these claims, Akpınar filed a non-pecuniary damages lawsuit against Akay.
