A metrobus tire caught fire while in motion in Avcılar, and the fire was extinguished by fire crews.

The incident occurred in the evening hours at the Şükrübey Metrobus station. According to the information obtained, the tire of a metrobus traveling in the direction of Beylikdüzü caught fire for an unknown reason.

Passengers inside the vehicle were evacuated by the metrobus driver. Upon notification by officials, fire crews were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was extinguished following their intervention.

Due to the fire, there was congestion at the station for a while, but traffic returned to normal after recovery vehicles towed the metrobus away.

On the other hand, the moment of the incident was captured on the mobile phone cameras of citizens in the vicinity.
