MGM issues warning: Heavy thunderstorms expected in Marmara
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected, starting late tonight in Tekirdağ and the European side of Istanbul.

The General Directorate of Meteorology noted that starting after late hours tonight in Tekirdağ and the European side of Istanbul, locally heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected across the entire province of Istanbul starting from the morning hours of Wednesday, 29.11.2023, in the vicinity of Kocaeli after the afternoon hours, and in Bursa, Yalova, Bilecik, and Sakarya starting from the evening hours.
It also stated that caution and precautions should be taken against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, and strong winds during precipitation.
