MHP Antalya Provincial Board member Çırpan found dead in his home

Yusuf Çırpan, a member of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Antalya Provincial Board, has been found dead in his home. Homicide bureau teams have launched an investigation after it was determined that there was a trauma mark on the back of Çırpan's head.

MHP Antalya Provincial Board member Yusuf Çırpan has been found dead in his home in the Muratpaşa district.

Neighbors who saw 64-year-old Çırpan lying motionless in his home, which is located on the ground floor of an apartment building on 1431 Street in the Demircikara neighborhood, with the door left open, reported the situation to the authorities.

Following the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

Checks performed by 112 Emergency Health teams confirmed that Çırpan had passed away. The Homicide Bureau of the Provincial Security Directorate's Public Order Branch has launched an investigation in the area by reviewing security camera footage.

MHP Provincial Chairman Onur Temel and party officials arrived at the house to receive information and assisted in moving the body to the vehicle.

The body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

Later, Provincial Chairman Temel, who arrived at the forensic institute with MHP Antalya Deputy Abdurrahman Başkan and party officials, stated that there was a trauma mark on Çırpan's head.

Meanwhile, Temel shared the following on his social media account: "I have learned with deep sadness of the passing of our MHP Antalya Provincial Board member, 'stone-madrasa' graduate, our fellow nationalist, our friend, and our elder Yusuf Çırpan. May his soul rest in peace and his place be in heaven, God willing. My condolences to our community and his family. May God have mercy on him."
