MHP claims 'Özgür Özel is preparing for presidential candidacy'! 'He has tasked his staff in this direction'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın penned an article on his party's news portal.

Evaluating the second opening process, referred to as 'Terror-Free Turkey,' which is being conducted with the DEM Party and the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, Yalçın called for legal regulations to be enacted.

Yalçın stated, "Turkey has spent a turbulent year under the influence of intense and delicate domestic and foreign agenda issues," adding, "Nevertheless, our country is advancing with confident steps toward its high goals for the 21st century, despite all internal and external obstacles and all risk factors. The steps taken toward realizing the Century of Turkey with all its elements, especially a Terror-Free Turkey, are being carried out decisively."

Yalçın said, "Efforts in the direction of making certain legal regulations are continuing. In this context, putting an end to efforts to act separately and be a divisive element, and integrating those who have not been involved in crime into the democratic system, are of great importance for the integrity of the country."

"OUR NATION HAS SHOWN INTEREST BEYOND EXPECTATIONS IN THE TERROR-FREE TURKEY MOVE"

Yalçın continued his words as follows:

"Since the 'Terror-Free Turkey' caravan was set in motion by our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, MHP organizations have taken to the roads and covered thousands of kilometers. From the Central Executive Board to the councils, and from our deputies to our organization members, all MHP cadres have mobilized to inform various segments of society about a Terror-Free Turkey.

We have reached the most remote corners of the country, embraced our citizens, and listened to their views, demands, and expectations. In this framework, numerous events have been organized by the MHP under various names and themes. Since October 24 alone, the number of visits themed 'Have a Good Day, My Neighbor' and chat meetings on the topic of 'Your Trouble is Our Trouble' across the country has exceeded thousands. The meetings and visits so far have reached 41,740.

Regarding the issue of a Terror-Free Turkey, our party is, so to speak, keeping a tight grip on the matter, and great effort is being expended to ensure that this issue is fully embraced by the collective conscience and that the purpose is achieved. The sincere and self-sacrificing efforts of the MHP cadres have begun to bear fruit; our nation, with whom the reasons and justifications for the Terror-Free Turkey move have been shared in all detail, has shown interest beyond expectations. According to observations in the field, the MHP's stance on a Terror-Free Turkey is being wholeheartedly supported by our noble nation. When the intention is good, it is certain that the outcome will also be good."

CALL FOR LEGAL REGULATION FOR THE PROCESS

Making assessments regarding legal regulations and those who have not been involved in crime, Yalçın included the following statements: "On the other hand, efforts are continuing in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to make certain legal regulations without compromising Turkey's unitary structure and the principle of the nation-state. In this context, putting an end to efforts to act separately and be a divisive element, and integrating those who have not been involved in crime into the democratic system, are of great importance for the integrity of the country."

Yalçın continued his assessment as follows:

"Ending the anxieties of mothers, reuniting families torn apart by terrorism, and permanently ending the acts of kidnapping youth to the mountains is a duty for our state. Supporting and lending a shoulder to efforts of this scale is a debt and even an obligation for all legitimate political parties, all non-governmental organizations, and all institutions and establishments. It should not be forgotten that the terror hubs targeting Turkey's unity and solidarity, social peace, and tranquility are still at work. Dark hands have not abandoned their dirty calculations."

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL IS HIS TARGET

The continuation of Yalçın's statement, in which he reacted to the words spoken by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel during his foreign contacts, is as follows:

"The great importance of the 'Terror-Free Turkey' caravan reaching its destination has once again become apparent on the occasion of the operation against the terrorist organization DAESH in Yalova. With the operation in which we gave three martyrs, a group of terrorists preparing for bloody acts against Turkey's integrity and stability was neutralized. Even so, the confused opposition in Turkey still ignores the facts; it is traveling in the wrong lane with an arrogant and ignorant attitude.

The CHP, which leads the opposition, prefers a base political understanding that consists of constantly slandering and insulting its political rivals with a foul-mouthed style. CHP spokespersons constantly accuse the government and the People's Alliance with baseless claims, and by adopting a hostile attitude, they continuously undermine the climate of reconciliation and dialogue.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who should stand by the state on national issues, persistently positions himself against it. Özgür Özel did not refrain from engaging in disinformation by making the state's reflex regarding foreign UAVs a subject of polemic in order to portray President Mr. Erdoğan as guilty.

Moreover, Özel complains about Turkey to his foreign colleagues during his trips abroad. While Özel diminishes himself by snitching on his own government to colonial countries, he also drags the CHP, which founded the Republic, into the lap of imperialism. Therefore, even his foreign colleagues do not take Özgür Özel, who is in the grip of political sterility, incompetence, and desperation, seriously."

CLAIM THAT "ÖZEL IS PREPARING FOR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDACY"

It does not escape notice that Özgür Özel is preparing for a presidential candidacy with some political variations and artistic variety, and that he has tasked his new staff in this direction. The new CHP administration, which is preparing to abandon the sinking boat of Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is in a state of a political zombie, is about to board Özgür Özel's rowboat.

What is essentially important, of course, is how the CHP base will react to this candidacy madness and how the Turkish voter will receive this in a general sense. Some minor parties, primarily the İP (Good Party), which makes the politics of discord its mission among the nationalist-conservative masses they claim to lean on, are also setting their course in the wake of the CHP.

The 'Crypto Sister' of the İP has left behind poisonous flowers of discord, like oleander, with a handful of incompetent disciples behind her. The orphans of the 'Crypto Sister' are now feeding on perception games and smear campaigns against the MHP. Just like the CHP, they are also after disinformation against our country and hostility toward a Terror-Free Turkey.

As is known, the flowers of the oleander tree are very beautiful but quite toxic. In any case, our nation knows 'WELL' (İYİ) that they never serve poison in a tin cup. As the MHP, we will not remain spectators to our nation being poisoned by smear campaigns and misleading information, or being driven into panic and hopelessness."

"THE PROCESS WILL CONTINUE IN THE NEW YEAR"

"We will prevent the schemes of discord and division that are intended to be spun around a Terror-Free Turkey, and we will neutralize the smear and blackout campaigns. The MHP's programs and activities regarding a Terror-Free Turkey will continue at full speed in the new year. We will continue to patiently explain that a Terror-Free Turkey does not mean making concessions to terror or loving terrorists.

We will persistently state that a Terror-Free Turkey is, on the contrary, a step to bring terrorists and terror-lovers to heel. We will reiterate that a Terror-Free Turkey is a step to protect and safeguard both our national unity and integrity, and our democracy.

We will always emphasize that the goal of the MHP and the People's Alliance is to make the climate of peace and tolerance dominant both in our country and in the region. We will continue the efforts to fully realize a Terror-Free Turkey in 2026 as a national mobilization. We will continue our struggle against the disruptive opposition mentality, which is no different from fifth-column activities, with determination in the new year.

On this occasion, we wish God's mercy upon our heroic police officers who were martyred during the terror operation in Yalova, and a speedy recovery to our wounded. We sincerely hope that the year 2026 will bring lasting peace and tranquility, eternal unity and order, unlimited prosperity and abundance to our noble nation and the entire Turkish and Islamic world; and a fair and equitable order to the world."
