MHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın labels İmamoğlu a 'political madman'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın made significant statements regarding the CHP and İmamoğlu.

Targeting İmamoğlu, Yalçın called him "a passionate political madman burning with the desire for a presidential candidacy."

Claiming that the CHP's agenda is determined by the personal ambitions of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Yalçın stated, "The CHP's agenda is not being determined by the complex problems of Turkey and its major cities, especially Istanbul, but by İmamoğlu's unbridled ambitions."

Suggesting that the CHP has become disconnected from the country's agenda, Yalçın said, "The CHP, which appears to have lost control and veered off the agenda track, is galloping toward the destination of a great political disappointment."

"İmamoğlu is burning with the desire to secure his presidential candidacy," said Yalçın. "That is why he has personally mobilized the CHP organization, which Özgür Özel cannot control. His goal is to eliminate his potential political rivals from the very beginning," he added.

"POLITICAL MADMAN"

Yalçın stated, "He has long since begun to threaten the safety, well-being, and health of the people of Istanbul. He is not a mayor determined to fulfill his duties and responsibilities, but a passionate political madman burning with the desire for a presidential candidacy."

MHP's Yalçın also reacted to the primary election that the CHP announced it would hold to determine its presidential candidate:

"There is no other explanation for putting the dilemma of choosing a candidate before CHP members in such a hasty manner, as if trying to save goods from a fire. Let us offer a bitter reminder to the CHP executives, who are currently frequently resorting to the rhetoric of hunger; megacities like Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Adana are hungry for service. For example, Ekrem İmamoğlu does not even have an 'emergency action plan' for the hundreds of thousands of buildings in Istanbul that need to undergo urban transformation or be reinforced."

"PREMATURE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE"

Referring to the possibility of İmamoğlu being declared a candidate as a "premature presidential candidate," Yalçın said:

"Furthermore, if İmamoğlu receives the go-ahead from CHP members, he will be a premature presidential candidate. With years still left until the birth and the election, the premature arrival of this untimely 'offspring' will not be a good omen for the CHP. The CHP will have to struggle with a series of disabilities and organ failure ailments that this freak of nature will suffer from.

If the premature omen somehow manages to get out of the incubator, it will strut around, and this time the nation will cut its beak for crowing at the wrong time.

In short, a premature birth will not bring an early election to the CHP, but an early disappointment. This matter should also be asked to the nation. Does this man possess the qualities, merit, competence, and background to serve as president? We are sure that the vast majority will answer this question in the negative.

The job of novice jockey Özgür Özel is difficult. Özel will not be able to cover up the debt trap and the fire of untimely candidate selection in the CHP with any move. Seeking a way to defeat the People's Alliance, with which he cannot compete, through insults, profanity, slander, and false accusations will not benefit the CHP."
